Bad Ass Madapa Ka

Watched Rex Navarete's show last night at Megamall. It was funny because when we were about to enter the theater, a lady approached us and asked my mom if we wouldn't mind sitting in front. We were puzzled and asked why. She said we might be shown in the DVD they were filming for MTV. Flattered and suspicious at the same time, we said it would be ok. Twas a good thing! There weren't reserved seats! Had we not agreed, we would've been scattered in all parts of the movie house! Rex N is so funny! He can also contort his face to look like different people. It was so funny because his impressions Filipino lolas and moms reminded me of my own lola and some aunties!

There was this couple behind me in the popcorn line. The girl looked like she was a college freshman. The guy looked like he was in his mid or late twenties. The guy was being obnoxious, trying to impress the girl and the girl was laughing so hard at all his "jokes". It was sad because it seemed like both were trying too hard to please each other and I don't think they know each other well.... the girl was asking the guy how old he really is.... They sat behind us during the show and after the show, they had this 30-second smooch... It bothered me... Call me conservative but it wasn't really the kiss per se that disturbed me. It was the whole scenario of trying to seem as "fun to be with" as possible and trying so hard to impress the other.... I felt sorry for the girl because she seems like such a young girl.. The guy seems to know what he's doing.. Oh well!

Ate at UCC afterwards... I have had too much cheese today (fusilli with cheese and cheese plus white cheese pizza for lunch) but I still ordered their seafood penne gratin. It was ok but I didn't like the fact that my pasta had SOY SAUCE mixed in...

22nd bday.. older and wiser (?)

Had a party with kids from Virlanie's Marco Polo Care Center. They were so cute and very affectionate. They made me realize how lucky I am. It seems like all my problems are silly compared to what they've been through. There's JJ who got burned when he was 8 months old. He's so smart and he has a very healthy disposition. He doesn't complain when the metal thingies on his legs are adjusted. Orly who's seven, acts like he's so much younger. He was an abused child. He loves blowing bubbles. There's Analyn who's always smiling. She's a special child and gives hugs to everyone. I don't remember her name but she was just "rescued" last weekend from her uncle who burns her with an iron even while she's asleep. She said she was also dipped upside down in water when she was younger. I'm so glad I spent the day with them :)

I'm not as bratty about my bday as I used to be... hehehe having a bday bash with tons and tons of friends is not as important as before. This year's bday bash is more meaningful because I was able to share my blessings. God has been very good to me. I have a good job, a wonderful boyfriend, a loving family and great friends :)

i'm not a shopaholic after all..

Went to Divi today. We were so stinky when we got home!

We bought stuff for my bday party and Samantha's 1st Barney Party. We bought her Barney loot bags, coloring books, plates, cups and even a Pinata! I just don't know how they're going to send the goodies to San Francisco :) My titas and my mom really feel like they're Sam's grannies!

There are a lot of really cheap stuff there especially at the Rainbo store... 168 was not as exciting as I thought it would be but I think we weren't able to go to the exciting parts.... Bought cute keychains, fans, stickers for myself... Shux para akong bata!

I don't know if I'm just getting old or if i really don't like shopping in unfavorable conditions (stinky, cramped, dusty places). It could also be because I think the goods we saw were all worth it (clothes-wise)... It was so funny because I was so bored I fell asleep in the wrapper store! It was pretty hot and Ate Terry and I were seated on top of bunches of gift wrappers... There was a fan in front of us and I fell asleep in Divisoria! hehehe

Oh well, it's for a good cause... :D

That's all we did today... It took the whole day! Took so long! Had so many plans! Sigh....

I wasn't able to watch Pinoy Big Brother! I wonder who got evicted.....

My job seems to be getting more and more interesting as we learn more about it! I got my assignment today... I'm happyscared... More scared than happy though..... PRANING BIANCA! I'm really praying that I'll do well and will stay long where I am! :)

It's Mama's birthday today! It was so funny because Erika, Ria and I wore matching red shirts we bought at surplus shop (Old Navy) which says I (heart) MOM. We went around SM Bicutan hehehe :)

I am totally lusting over the new ipod nano! It's so small and so nice-looking and it's colored!!!!!
i'm addicted to gadgets!!! aaaargh!! must save money!!!!!!

welcome to the real world

i have a new job! :) i consider this to be my first "real" job. i hope i enjoy my work and i hope i'll be great doing my job! i'm happy-scared. i'm going to start paying for my celfone and gym bills among other things.. I'm growing up!
